The matchstick of a little crow is all we have to light our adventure through a creepy kingdom on this week’s episode of Indie-licious!
Far away in a dark fantasy land is a fallen kingdom ruled over by an evil queen. When she takes the family of a tiny bird, he takes up a matchstick and goes on a journey to save them. We’re playing Well Dweller on this week’s Indie-licious and I am excited about it.
Well Dweller came out on September 22, 2026 and is available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Kyle Thompson and published by Top Hat Studios, it’s a Metroidvania game in which you guide the little bird Glimmer through the ruined kingdom, fighting wretched creatures and meeting charming friends along the way. I have heard no end of good things about this game since it came out and I’m excited to see for myself what this fascinating action-platformer feels like.
